OBJECT::

Call for supplementary grants, awarded directly under the provisions of Article 22.2.b) of Law 38/2003 of 17 November, General Subsidies Law, intended for university students from the Community of Castile and León who have been awarded Erasmus+ mobility grants for study purposes for the 2025/2026 academic year, intended to supplement the financing of living expenses in the destination country, arising from the participation of students from the universities of Castile and León in the aforementioned mobility programme, for a minimum duration of two months and a maximum of twelve months per study cycle.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Students at universities in Castile and León who are enrolled in official higher education degree, master's or doctoral programmes and meet the other requirements.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

Be recipients of an Erasmus+ student mobility grant at higher education institutions belonging to one of the countries listed in the Annex, with which the universities of Castile and León have signed the corresponding inter-institutional agreements, for study purposes, for the 2025/2026 academic year.

WHAT IS THE GRANT FOR?:

The grants will be used to supplement the funding of living expenses in the destination country, arising from the participation of students from universities in Castile and León in the Erasmus+ mobility programme for study purposes, for the 2025/2026 academic year, for a minimum duration of two months and a maximum of twelve months per study cycle.

Amount:

  • The monthly amount of the grants will be calculated by dividing the total credit allocated for this call by the total number of months of the beneficiaries' planned stay.
  • The amount awarded will be calculated by multiplying the monthly amount of the grant by the number of months or fraction thereof of the planned stay, bearing in mind that this amount cannot exceed the amount of the subsidised activity.
  • Beneficiaries may receive an advance payment of 50% of the amount of the grant awarded in the decision. The remainder will be paid once the actual duration of the stay has been justified.

WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED?

Application, to be completed using the form ACCESSIBLE THROUGH THE COMPUTER APPLICATION, and which will include a declaration of responsibility regarding different aspects, accompanied by the following documentation:

  • a) Copy of the applicant's and/or their representative's ID card/foreign resident ID card, if they object to the Administration accessing this information.
  • b) Official document(s) issued by the relevant university, such as a certificate, official appointment as an Erasmus+ scholarship holder for study purposes, or letter of confirmation, if the applicant has objected to the Administration requesting this information from the relevant university. The following information must be included:
    • That the applicant is enrolled at the university as an undergraduate, master's or doctoral student on the date of the application deadline.
    • That the applicant has been awarded one of the Erasmus+ Higher Education scholarships for study purposes for the 2025/26 academic year.
    • The destination university and country in which it is located.
    • The expected duration of the stay at that university.

If the Regional Ministry of Education verifies the aforementioned data and it is found that the administrations do not have the applicant's details or if there are technical difficulties that prevent verification, the applicant will be required to provide this information.

In the event that an applicant submits several applications, only the last of the applications submitted on time will be taken into account.

The maximum period for resolving and publishing the decision shall be 6 MONTHS, counted from the day following the end of the period for submitting applications. If this period has elapsed without the decision having been issued and published, applicants may consider their application to have been REJECTED due to administrative silence. The resolution order will be published in the ‘Official Gazette of Castilla y León’ and will be advertised on the Education Portal of the Junta de Castilla y León (http://www.educa.jcyl.es/universidad) for a period of no less than one month after its publication. Likewise, the appropriate information on the award decision will be sent to the National Grants Database in accordance with the provisions of Articles 18 and 20.8.b) of Law 38/2003, of 17 November.

Notificaciones:

  • By Postal Mail at the address of the interested party.
  • Electronic notification by appearance, by means of a notice via the e-mail address included in the application. This notice shall not have the effect of a notification until the interested party accesses the content of the notification in the NOTI notification system.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Correction of applications

  • Applicants will be requested to rectify any deficiencies or to attach the required documents within 10 BUSINESS DAYS. If they fail to do so, they will be considered to have withdrawn their application, subject to a prior decision. For this purpose, they may fill in the web form called ‘rectification’.
  • These requirements will be published in the ‘Official Gazette of Castilla y León’, and will be published on the Education Portal of the Junta de Castilla y León.

Justification

  • Once the stay of all the beneficiaries at the host universities has ended and before 7 October 2026, each collaborating entity must provide a comprehensive certificate of the duration of the stay and fulfilment of the purpose, in the terms established in the call for applications.

Compatibility

  • The aid granted is compatible with the enjoyment of any aid, subsidy, resource or income granted by any public or private, national or international administration or entity for the same purpose, without the total amount subsidised in any case, either individually or in conjunction with others, exceeding the total amount of the subsidised activity.
