Permits for exploration or investigation of mineral resources under Sections (C) and (D)

Purpose:

Obtaining a permit for exploration or investigation of mineral resources in Sections C) and D).

WHO CAN APPLY FOR IT?

Any natural person or legal entity.

HOW DO I QUALIFY?

Sufficient economic and financial, technical and professional solvency.

What documents do I need?

Application on a standard form, accompanied by the following documentation:

In the case of an exploration permit (time limit 30 days):

  • a) Exploration programme
  • b) Health and safety document
  • c) Self-protection plan.
  • d) Plan for the restoration of the natural area affected by the mining works.
  • e) Impact Assessment Report on the Natura 2000 Network, if no environmental impact assessment is required.

In the case of a research permit (60 days):

  • a) Definitive designation of the requested land.
  • b) Research project, signed by a qualified technician.
  • c) Economic study of financing and guarantees offered on its viability.
  • d) Document on health and safety.
  • e) Self-protection plan.
  • f) Plan for the restoration of the natural area affected by the mining works.
  • g) Impact Assessment Report on the Natura 2000 Network, if no environmental impact assessment is required.

WHAT TIME DO I HAVE TO ASK?

Permanently open.

DEADLINE FOR RESOLUTION:

  • 6 months.

NOTIFICATIONS:

  • Publication in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León/ Official Gazette of Province
  • Electronic notification by appearance, by means of a notice via the e-mail address included in the application. This notice shall not have the effect of a notification until the interested party accesses the content of the notification in the NOTI notification system.
