Call for applications for grants for students enrolled in baccalaureate and vocational training within the education system and certain specialised courses taught at centres in the Community of Castile and León in the 2025-2026 academic year, on a competitive basis.

The maximum period for resolving the call for applications and publishing the decision will be 6 MONTHS from the day following the end of the deadline for submitting applications, or from the date on which the application enters the register of the body competent to decide, whichever is later. Once this period has elapsed without the decision having been published, the applications may be considered REJECTED. An appeal for reversal may be lodged within one month before the Regional Minister of Education, or an appeal for judicial review may be lodged directly before the Chamber of the same name of the High Court of Justice of Castilla y León, within two months, against the decision, which will put an end to administrative proceedings. Both deadlines will be calculated from the day following publication on the notice boards of the Provincial Directorates of Education. For the purposes of lodging an appeal for reconsideration, form no. 4 may be completed.

WHO CAN APPLY?
- Students enrolled in educational centres in the Community of Castile and Leon who are taking the following courses authorised by the Regional Ministry responsible for education in the 2025-2026 academic year:
- a) Baccalaureate in all types of educational centres.
- b) Basic vocational training cycles in all types of educational centres.
- c) Intermediate Vocational Training Cycles in all types of educational centres.
- d) Higher Level Vocational Training Cycles in all types of educational centres.
- e) Specific preparatory training courses for access to intermediate and higher vocational training at public and subsidised private centres that are authorised to offer vocational training courses.
- f) Specialisation courses in vocational training courses given in all types of educational centres.
- g) Language teaching in the Official Language Schools under the official regime in any modality, whether on-site, blended or distance learning.
- h) Sports education leading to the award of sports technician and higher sports technician diplomas taught in all types of educational centres.
- i) Professional Education in Plastic Arts and Design, both at intermediate and higher levels, taught in public schools
- j) Elementary and professional artistic education in music and dance in publicly-funded educational establishments.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
Students who meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of these grants:
- To be enrolled, in the school year 2025/2026, in any of the indicated teachings and centres.
- Have their family residence and tax domicile in the Community of Castilla y León.
- Not be in possession of, nor meet the legal requirements for the issuing of a qualification of this or a higher level than that corresponding to the education for which the aid is being requested.
- Fulfil the academic requirements, as well as the economic requirements.
- To have applied within the period established in the corresponding call for applications, for a grant or aid for the same studies and academic year, charged to the programme of the Ministry of Education. This requirement will not apply to students who are not included in the aforementioned programme because they are studying courses not included in it, although they must meet the requirements established in this order and developed in the corresponding call for applications issued by the regional administration.
WHAT IS THE GRANT FOR?:
The MODALITIES of the grants are as follows:
a) VARIABLE grant based on general, academic and economic requirements.
b) Fixed grant linked to RESIDENCE: This may be received by those who, in addition to being beneficiaries of the variable assistance, need to reside in a place other than their family home due to the studies they are studying in the on-site mode during the school year and who meet the requirements. Students who are studying basic vocational training will not be eligible for this type of grant.
C) Fixed grant based on excellence in ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE. This may be received by anyone who is studying any of the courses listed, with the exception of those referred to in letters b), e) and g) of the section WHO MAY APPLY, and who is also a beneficiary of the variable grant.
Amount:
- VARIABLE GRANT, between €200 and €450 depending on the income of the family unit.
- a) Less than or equal to 25% of the maximum family income threshold: €450.
- b) More than 25% and less than or equal to 50% of the maximum threshold: 350 €.
- c) More than 50% and less than or equal to 75% of the maximum threshold: 250 €.
- d) More than 75% and less than or equal to 100% of the maximum threshold: 200 €.
- Fixed grant linked to RESIDENCE 1.600 €.
- Fixed grant linked to excellence in ACADEMIC PERFORMANCE between 50 and 125 €.
- a) Between 8.00 and 8.49 points → 50 €.
- b) Between 8.50 and 8.99 points → €75 €75
- c) Between 9.00 and 9.49 points → € 100
- d) 9.50 points or more → €125 €125
WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED?
Application on a standard form, one per student, to be completed through the COMPUTER APPLICATION (form nº1), signed by the student if he/she is of legal age or, if not, by the father and mother or guardian or legal representative, as the case may be, and by all members of the family unit of legal age, and addressed to the D.P. of Education where the centre where the studies are to be given is located.
If the application is submitted electronically, adult members of the family unit other than the applicant must complete the ‘Signature Supplement’ form.
The application must include a sworn statement from the applicant, parent, or legal representative of the student regarding various matters.
If more than one application is submitted, the one submitted last will prevail, according to the date and time recorded in the corresponding register.
The applicant may authorise the Department of Education to send text messages regarding the processing of the application to the mobile phone number indicated on the application form.

Notificaciones:
- Provisional lists of applications submitted: these will be posted on the notice boards of the provincial education directorates and will be published on the Education Portal of the Junta de Castilla y León (http://www.educa.jcyl.es). The publication of these lists will start the calculation of the period of ten working days in which, where appropriate, any deficiencies may be rectified or any missing documents may be attached, with the indication that, if this is not done, the applicant will be considered to have withdrawn his or her application.
- List of grants awarded: The resolution containing the list of grants awarded and rejected, indicating in the latter case the reason for rejection, will be published on the notice boards of the Provincial Education Directorates, and will be advertised on the Education Website l (www.educa.jcyl.es) for a period of no less than one month from the date of publication.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
Incompatibility with other aid
- In general, the grants regulated by this order shall be incompatible with other subsidies or grants awarded for the same purpose by this or any other public administration, or by any public or private entity. In particular, the grants shall be incompatible with those awarded by the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training to students for the same course of study in the 2025/2026 academic year.
Payment of aid and exemption from taxation
- The amount of the grant granted will be paid in a single payment, by transfer to the bank account indicated on the application form.
- In accordance with the provisions of Law 35/2006, of 28 November, on Personal Income Tax and partial modification of the laws on Corporate Income Tax, Non-Resident Income Tax and Wealth Tax, these grants are considered exempt income.
