OBJECT::
To call for applications, on a competitive basis, for study grants aimed at undergraduate and master's degree students in the universities of the Community during the 2024-2025 academic year in the following modalities:
- Academic achievement for students studying second and subsequent years of official university degree courses and for those studying official university master's degree courses.
- Income for students in all courses of official university degree courses.

WHO CAN APPLY?
Students enrolled in official undergraduate and master's degree courses at universities in Castilla y León during the academic year 2024-2025
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
- a) Be enrolled in a public or private university in Castilla y León during the academic year 2024-2025.
- b) Studying courses leading to the award of official university bachelor's or master's degrees.
- c) Not be in possession of, nor meet the legal requirements for obtaining, a degree of the same or higher level as that corresponding to the official university studies for which the grant is being applied for. Notwithstanding the provisions of this paragraph c), those in possession of an official bachelor's degree that has been assigned to level 3 (master's degree) of the Spanish Framework of Qualifications for Higher Education (MECES), or in possession of an official degree of architect, engineer, graduate, technical architect, technical engineer or diploma holder that has been assigned to level 3 (master's degree) of the MECES, may be beneficiaries of aid to study official university courses leading to the award of a university master's degree.
- d) Having been a beneficiary of the enrolment grant for the academic year 2024- 2025, for students studying post-compulsory studies, announced by the Resolution of 13 March 2024, of the Secretary of State for Education.
Students applying for these grants must comply with the requirement of being registered as a resident in a municipality in Castilla y León by the deadline for submitting applications, as established in section nine, and undertake to maintain compliance with this requirement during the period of time inherent to the recognition of the right to receive the grant.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

WHAT IS THE GRANT FOR?:
The grants awarded include the following categories:
UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS
Income: for students in all academic years.
Academic Achievement: For students in 2nd and subsequent years who have enrolled for 60 or more credits, or who, having enrolled for fewer than 60 credits, enrol for all the credits remaining to complete their degree.
Both grants can be applied for at the same time, in the same application.
MASTER'S DEGREE STUDENTS
Academic Achievement: For Master's Degree students enrolled in:
- 60 or more credits (60 or 120 credit syllabus).
- 60 or more credits in the first year and 30 or more credits in the second year (90-credit syllabus).
- When, by virtue of the university's own regulations, the number of credits in which all students can be enrolled is limited, students must be enrolled in all the credits in which it is possible for them to be enrolled.
Amount:
- For the ACADEMIC APPROVEMENT modality, the aid for each beneficiary may not be, in any case, less than one euro (€1) or more than twenty euros (€20) per credit passed in the academic year 2023/2024.
- For the INCOME modality, the aid for each beneficiary may not be less than one hundred euros (€100) or more than six hundred euros (€600).
WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED?
The application must be completed using the form ACCESSIBLE THROUGH THE COMPUTER APPLICATION and must be addressed to the Regional Minister of Education.
The application must include a declaration of acceptance of the terms and conditions and of the different points required.
The Directorate of Universities and Research must be immediately informed of any variation in the content of the declarations made up to the time the payment proposal is made.
In the event that the interested party submits several applications, only the last of the applications submitted within the deadline will be taken into account.
Undergraduate students can apply for both types of aid in the same application.
It is not necessary to provide documentation. Only if there is express opposition in your application, you must provide it.
University Master's degree students who studied at a university outside Castilla y León: Certificate issued by the university outside Castilla y León where they studied the degree studies that gave them access to the Master's degree, stating the credits passed in the last year of those degree studies.

The maximum period for resolving and publishing the award decision will be 6 MONTHS from the day following the end of the deadline for submitting applications. Once this period has elapsed without the publication of an express decision, the applications may be considered REJECTED.
The call for applications will be published in the Official Gazette of Castilla y León and will be advertised on the Education Portal of the Junta de Castilla y León (http://www.educa.jcyl.es) for a period of no less than one month from the date of publication.

Incompatibility
- The aid granted will be compatible with other aid, subsidies, income or resources for the same purpose from any public or private, national or international administration or body, without the total amount subsidised in any case, alone or in concurrence with others, exceeding the cost of the subsidised activity.
