Description:
Necessary formalities for Retail Trade activities
The purpose of this process is:
- To offer the sequence of procedures that entrepreneurs have to carry out, once they have been set up as a company or individual entrepreneur, for their definitive installation, start-up and development of retail trade activities.
- To provide, through a single access point, the documents (communication forms, responsible declaration or application for authorisation) that must be processed before this Administration for the start-up and development of the corresponding activity.
- To show, through the process map, an overview of the actions in which other Public Administrations intervene, such as the local councils in whose area the activity is to be carried out or the General State Administration.
PROCESS MAP
- The process map corresponding to the indicated activities is shown below. All the procedures are included, although each entrepreneur should only complete those required according to the characteristics of the commercial activity to be carried out.
- The specific administrative procedures necessary for the development of the activity, corresponding to the Community Administration, can be accessed by clicking on the form of the flow chart where the name of the procedure is stated.

COMMUNITY ADMINISTRATION PROCEDURES
The formalities/procedures of the Administration of the Community of Castilla y León that would be necessary, where appropriate (according to size, situation and specialisation), for retail trade activities, are the following:
1. Formalities prior to the activity
2. Formalities for the start of the activity
3. Formalities immediately after the start of the activity
- Distance selling: Communication of data to the register of distance selling companies (Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism).
- Franchise transfer activity: Communication of data to the register of franchisors (Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism).
