Financial assistance for caregiver respite

OBJECT::

The purpose of the assistance is to cover part of the cost of the stay of the highly dependent person in a residential centre for 30 days per year. The Administration automatically recognises persons who meet the requirements.

WHO CAN APPLY?

Persons with a level III dependency rating who are recognised as receiving financial assistance for care in the family environment.

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?

  • Individuals with a Level III dependency rating will not be subject to a caregiver rotation system.
  • Residential care services will be included in their Individual Care Programme (ICP).

Amount:

  • The monthly amount of the related financial benefit (financial capacity report, which will be received with the latest decision updating the amounts).
  • In order to receive the benefit, the beneficiary must submit the invoices issued by the residential centre to the Administration.

WHAT DOCUMENTS DO I NEED?

An application for a place must be submitted to the chosen centre (there is no official form; the centre will provide one), which must also include a sworn statement from the carer regarding treatments, specific dietary and care needs, etc. Any documentation required by the centre must also be provided.

Numerous centres have joined this programme and offer places that meet the conditions for these temporary stays.

    2. By means of an Online PDF Form  ( Instructions for carrying out electronic procedures ) by opening the PDF directly with Adobe Acrobat Reader or saving it, filling in the required fields and sending through  Electronic Administration Application
    3. Via Web Form: Fill in the required fields for each section, click "Review" and make the appropriate corrections, if applicable, and then click on the electronic processing option ("Submit/Send/Save")..
  3. Check the , attach documentation, sign and electronically record all documentation..
  4. Download proof of presentation.
