Accreditation of the home help service

Purpose:

To regulate the accreditation procedure for home care services in Castile and León, guaranteeing levels of quality, suitability, and protection for users. Home care services are defined as a service designed to facilitate the development or maintenance of personal autonomy, prevent individual or social decline, and promote favorable conditions in family or cohabitation relationships, contributing to the integration and continued residence of individuals in their usual living environment through appropriate intervention and support of a personal, socio-educational, domestic, and/or social nature.

Accreditation will entail the automatic registration of the service in the Register of Entities, Services, and Centers of a Social Nature of Castile and León, or, if already registered, this fact will be recorded as a supplementary registration.

Accreditation is a mandatory requirement for the provision of this service when it is directly or indirectly funded with public funds; otherwise, it is voluntary.

What documents do I need?

For accreditation, an application, using the standard form, should be addressed to the Manager of Social Services of Castile and León, accompanied by copies of the following documentation:

  • Internal regulations.
  • Service charter.
  • Quality management plan.
  • User registration form.
  • Contract/agreement form with the service user.
  • Organizational chart of the service provider.
  • Civil liability insurance policy.
  • Complaints and suggestions form.
  • Declaration of responsibility for compliance with the other requirements, quality indicators, and obligations established in the order, as well as an emergency response protocol.

To renew accreditation, a declaration of compliance with all required conditions and obligations must be submitted, along with the following documentation:

  • List of new hires and terminations of staff in the accredited service
  • Activity report (including a list of employees and training hours completed, as well as a list of immediate replacements made)

WHAT TIME DO I HAVE TO ASK?

• Open and permanent.

• The home care service accreditation will be valid for one year. Renewal must be submitted at least three months before the expiration date.

DEADLINE FOR RESOLUTION:

  • The maximum period for issuing a decision and notifying the interested party will be sixty working days from the date the application is entered in the register of the body responsible for processing it. If no express decision is issued within this period, the application will be considered rejected.

NOTIFICATIONS:

  • By Postal Mail at the address of the interested party.
  • Electronic notification by appearance, by means of a notice via the e-mail address included in the application. This notice shall not have the effect of a notification until the interested party accesses the content of the notification in the NOTI notification system.

    2. By means of an Online PDF Form  ( Instructions for carrying out electronic procedures ) by opening the PDF directly with Adobe Acrobat Reader or saving it, filling in the required fields and sending through  Electronic Administration Application
    3. Via Web Form: Fill in the required fields for each section, click "Review" and make the appropriate corrections, if applicable, and then click on the electronic processing option ("Submit/Send/Save")..
