Review of the environmental authorisation

Purpose:

Review the environmental authorisation granted to a facility or activity in accordance with the provisions of Article 26 of the revised text of the Law on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control approved by Royal Legislative Decree 1/2016, of 16 December, and Article 24 of the revised text of the Castile and León Environmental Prevention Act approved by Legislative Decree 1/2015, of 12 November.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR IT?

The river basin organisation and the other bodies listed in the consolidated text of the Law on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control and in the consolidated text of the Law on Environmental Prevention of Castile and León.

What documents do I need?

Standardised application form for administrative departments requesting the initiation of a procedure to review an environmental authorisation.

WHAT TIME DO I HAVE TO ASK?

Permanently open.

DEADLINE FOR RESOLUTION:

  • 6 MONTHS.
  • 3 MONTHS if the conditions set out in Article 16.5 of Royal Decree 815/2013 of 18 October, approving the Regulation on industrial emissions and implementing Law 16/2002 of 1 July on integrated pollution prevention and control, are met.

NOTIFICATIONS:

  • By Postal Mail at the address of the interested party.
  • Electronic notification by appearance, by means of a notice via the e-mail address included in the application. This notice shall not have the effect of a notification until the interested party accesses the content of the notification in the NOTI notification system.

In accordance with Article 26.2 of the revised text of the Law on Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control, within four years of the publication of the conclusions on BAT for the main activity of an installation, the competent body shall ensure that all the conditions of the authorisation have been reviewed and, if necessary, adapted, and that the installation complies with the conditions of the authorisation. To this end, at the request of the competent body, the holder shall submit all the information necessary for the review of the conditions of the authorisation. To do so, they must use the standard form available on this website and attach the technical documentation required or

Fees:

  • The environmental protection fee set out in the  Annual Order approving the publication of the rates of the fees in force must be paid. . You can use the fee form available on this page. Once payment has been made through a bank, the supporting document must be attached to the application.
  • You can also make the payment and submit the settlement electronically through the Virtual Office (OVIA) available at http://www.tributos.jcyl.es, using standard form 046.

Control and Monitoring

  • To submit periodic reports, use the form ‘Incorporation of data and/or documents’ and select the concept ‘2364-CONTROL AND MONITORING OF ACTIVITY. PERIODIC REPORTS’ from the drop-down menu corresponding to the procedure in point 3.

    3. Via Web Form: Fill in the required fields for each section, click "Review" and make the appropriate corrections, if applicable, and then click on the electronic processing option ("Submit/Send/Save")..
