Application for and renewal of the authorisation to use the distinctive sign of origin of certain services and products from the areas of socio-economic influence of the protected natural areas of Castilla y León

HOW DO I QUALIFY?

1. The tourist services must:

• Have their quality accredited by means of a quality figure of which any Public Administration is the holder and be registered in the corresponding public Registers.
• Be carried out or supplied within the territorial scope of the areas of socio-economic influence of the Protected Natural Spaces of the Network of Natural Spaces, in which the company must have its registered office.
• Comply with the applicable environmental legislation.

2. Agri-food and handicraft products must:

• Have their quality recognised by means of accreditation from a Public Administration or recognised entity.
• Be obtained, produced or processed within the territorial scope of the areas of socio-economic influence of the Protected Natural Spaces of the Network of Natural Spaces, in which the company must have its registered office.
• They must be obtained, produced or transformed in activities or facilities that comply with the applicable environmental legislation.

What documents do I need?

• Deed of incorporation and articles of association, if applicable.
• Declaration of responsibility, in accordance with the model.
• Document accrediting recognition of quality by a public administration or recognised entity.
• Descriptive report of the company's activity in relation to the product/service.
• Document of commitment to good environmental practices and the promotion and dissemination of the values of the Protected Natural Area.

WHAT TIME DO I HAVE TO ASK?

AUTHORISATION:
Open on a permanent basis.

RENEWAL:
Three months prior to the end of the term of the authorisation.

DEADLINE FOR RESOLUTION:

• 3 months.

NOTIFICATIONS:

• By Postal Mail at the address of the interested party.
• Electronic notification by appearance, by means of a notice via the e-mail address included in the application. This notice shall not have the effect of a notification until the interested party accesses the content of the notification in the NOTI notification system.
